I really enjoyed the Fireside chat at The Samphire Club Jan 2020 - I was riffing with Samphire Club founder, John Harvey at the event held at the Hotel du Vin. It was a welcome return to Exeter as I had previously been a Like Minds' speaker in 2019.

It never ceases to amaze me just how much value was thrown off from these events. I’m republishing this article from 2015 to remind us just how far ahead of the curve these things were. I built and ran the Labs for Ogilvy. This was in 2015 and the connections and value still reverberate today.

I think of IWD and I am full of hope and yet I’m full of frustration too. My achievement as a woman - “Being successful by disregarding the idea that I’m a woman.”

I love working with people that need to get things done. Whether that’s an important program that needs delivering, a business challenge that needs solving or an opportunity that needs grasping. The key ingredients are the passion to get it delivered and the inspiration to spark others on the team to take responsibility and engage.
